The idea is simple: Anyone can sell their second hand, vintage and hand made items out of a suitcase. No fuss – just heaps of treats to be discovered.
Now you can discover even more treasures at the Pop Up Suitcase Rummage the Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm Park, every last Sunday of the month.
Set against the scenic backdrop of the Powerhouse Plaza you will find everything from hand-made jewellery to beautiful printed tiles turned artworks and much more that will make your collector heart beat faster. This Pop Up rummage is particularly focused on hand-made and vintage items and aims to provide a greater platform and showcase opportunity for designers and makers of things. It has grown significantly over the last 4 months with up to 70 stall holders participating.
Another treat for visitors are the workshops, crafternoons and talks, which are being held during the rummages. Just bring you blanket, crafting gear and join in on the crafting fun.
Next dates are
Sunday 30 March 1pm – 6pm and
Sunday 27 April 1pm – 6pm.
If you are a maker and designer and would like to be part of the Pop Up Rummage you can book your spot via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you need a break from all the rummaging you can refresh with a cold drink and yummy food at one of the two bars at the Powerhouse and listen to some of the free music program on the Turbine Platform.
